Photojournalism as a freelance photographer is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I looking back to my twenties; when I was a Reservist in the Army first, then as a Marine where I met Megan Kelly, Savannah Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb. In the heat of battle I used a camera a few times as a field journalist/photographer. It was the beginnings of a photojournalism career. I used an 8mm camera for a few weeks; remeber this was the mid 1980's.
I have recently returned to my journalism as the owner of Highland Productions LLC. However, I am the least famous of the Highland Productions LLC's family of journalist. As a new member of the US Press Agency (Member Number 41843 year 2022). I know it's hard to believe but my barracks was used a Press Agents Office. I was gone alot and the woman had the peace and quiet of the empty space. Today I have children that carry the families torch on the largest media stages the world has ever seen. The truth marches on.
